Frequently Asked Questions:

1. How do I place an order? 

  Orders are placed via the website. Please add the required total of each print to your cart. Payment is taken at checkout, and can be made via PayPal or debit/credit card.  

2. What is a pre-order?

     A pre-order is where the fabric prints are available to purchase in advance of printing - these are not in stock items - once the pre-order round has closed the orders are submitted to the printers, and it is then an estimated 8-10 week turnaround for fabric to be shipped to us. We do purchase limited amounts of retail which is offered for purchase once all pre-orders have been sent to customers. 

3. When will I receive my fabric?

     Pre-order fabric has an estimated 8-10 week turnaround after the closure of the round to its arrival with us. Please note that the turnaround time is based on close of round, not on individuals' purchase order dates. After the fabric has arrived with us we ask that you allow up to 2 weeks for us to cut and pack all pre-orders. We will always keep our Facebook group updated with information of when a round has arrived so please follow us there for further information.

4. Do you offer payment plans?

Layaway is a payment plan which allows you to spread the cost of your pre-order purchase (this option is not available for retail). Layaway will be available for any pre-order purchases over £50. There will be a £5 administration fee for using this service. 30% of the total must be paid at time of checkout, the remaining balance is due within 4 weeks of the close of the round and will be invoiced via paypal. Failure to meet the deadline for layaway payments can result in your order being delayed, and a strike placed against you for future use of the scheme. If you have difficulties in meeting the deadline due to unforeseen circumstances please contact us via the Facebook page messaging service.

5. Can I purchase if I'm not in the UK?

     Absolutely. We offer international shipping. Shipping costs are determined by weight and will be invoiced separately via Paypal when the fabric has arrived with us. 

We also have two International shipping hosts who can have your order shipped to them along with other customers from the same destination in order to share and save on the international shipping costs and duties, you would pay a percentage of the international shipping costs and then domestic shipping to your address. This can be a more cost effective way of purchasing. We currently have hosts available for USA orders and orders placed for Norway.

6. What do I do if there is an issue with my order?

     Please contact us via the Facebook page messaging service where a member of the admin team will be able to assist and support you.

Shipping & Delivery Information: 

     Please select the correct shipping rate at checkout to avoid delays to your order. UK shipping is determined by volume of order and is calculated at checkout. If you are unsure which rate to select please contact us before purchase. 

International orders will be invoiced separately for shipping once the fabric has arrived with us; invoices will be sent via the email address provided at checkout. 

We also have shipping hosts available in the USA and Norway; this allows customers to purchase and then split shipping and duties costs between a group thereby reducing the costs, and then pay domestic shipping to the host. Please make sure that if you select this option you are a member of the appropriate Host Facebook group for updates.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

Once a pre-order round has closed and the order submitted to the printers we cannot accept cancellations. If there are extenuating circumstances please contact us via the Facebook page messaging service. Cancellation of an order may result in limitations on any future orders you wish to place with Miffy's Fabrics UK, and/or removal from the Facebook members group.

Failure to meet the deadline for layaway payments can result in your order being delayed, and a strike placed against you for future use of the scheme. If you have difficulties in meeting the deadline due to unforeseen circumstances please contact us via the Facebook page messaging service.

Replacements & refunds will be dispatched / issued on receipt of the returned items only. You are responsible for ensuring the goods are returned to us. Miffy's Fabrics UK will not be liable for returns that are lost in the post or lost for any other reason.

​If for any reason you are unhappy with your order, we will accept returns of unwashed fabrics only,  so please inspect your fabric before washing.

Flaws: Upon receipt of your fabric (Preorder or retail) you have 14 days to inspect the fabric and disclose any flaws to us via Facebook page messaging service. Any flaws reported after this time frame will not be eligible for refunds. Due to the nature of custom fabric printing, some flaws can be expected. Small flecks or spots may occur and are part of the printing process. Flaws smaller than 1.5cm will not be refunded. Larger flaws will be considered for partial refund or replacements at the discretion of MIffy's Fabrics UK. Flaws within the selvedge or within 5 inches of the selvedge are occasionally to be expected due to the printing process and will not be refunded. All fabrics are prone to some shrinkage and eventual wear (especially darker colour fabrics); this is not a flaw and will not be refunded. Due to the volume of fabric cut and sent within a round, and while we aim to ensure all cuts are accurately measured, there is a margin of error of 3cm in a metre. Miffy’s Fabrics UK are not responsible for how the customer washes/cares/uses the fabric once it has arrived with the customer. Please note that at times the fabric used in strike off images may differ from the final product due to different batch printing, and the strikes are used as tests to check for printing errors and flaws.

We do make every effort to accurately portray our goods in their correct colours, but due to differing screen settings and lighting conditions the colour of goods may appear different in person, to on our website or our promotional images.

Data Protection:

 Your personal information (which includes your name, address and any other details you provide to us which concern you as an individual) may be processed by us. When you place an order via this website we will store your e-mail address along with any other information you may provide. When you use the services on the website, we may need to collect further information about you. This information may include, but is not limited to, details such as your name and address.

This information will be held by us for 7 years, unless you request for it to be deleted. 

When you access the website, we may send a small file to your computer to enable us to identify your computer, track your behaviour on our website and to identify your particular areas of interest so as to enhance your future visits to Miffy's Fabrics UK website. We may use cookies to collect and store personal data and link the information stored by cookies with the personal data you supply to us. You can set your computer's browser to reject cookies but this may limit your use of certain parts of the website.
